each prompter may submit up to 10 prompts. if you only submit one prompt and want to add more later, you can return to edit your signup and add additional prompts up to a total of 10 for the rest of the round.

your prompt(s) must involve kink in some way.

if you are going to include a specific ship as opposed to just 'character a/character b,' it must be an iteration of lee know/3racha - poly ships are encouraged!

prompts must be in english so that the mods and other participants can read them. if you need translation help, please let us know!

works are intended to be shortform (between 100 words and 5k words) - your prompts should be something a writer can work from without needing to write a lot of worldbuilding or backstory, so don't go as plot-heavy or complicated as you would for a traditional prompt-based fest.

avoid negative commentary about tropes, ships, fandom trends, hot takes, etc. we are trying to prompt fic, not discourse.

"NO HARD KINKS" / "no dead dove" does not have an established definition - everyone will have different definitions, so please be specific if you have squicks or triggers that you would prefer not to see in fills for your prompt.

the mods reserve the right to delete any prompts that contain hateful content (racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, etc.), sexual content involving minor characters, kinkshaming, or fandom discourse. generic prompts or duplicate prompts may be deleted.

use the title field to add a basic one-line version of your prompt - this will make it easier for writers to see what your prompt is at a glance!

you can use the set ship tags if you'd like to see a specific ship, however if your prompt is everyone/everyone or you are not looking for a specific ship, you are not required by the form to include a ship tag.

it may be helpful to explain what you like about your prompt! while whoever fills it is not required to follow your prompt 100%, if they know what parts you're excited about, their finished work will be much more likely to be one you want to read!

the "optional tags" section is a great place to put additional kinks or tags you'd enjoy seeing in fills for your prompt

describe what you want to see in positive terms and what you do not want to see in neutral terms - do not kinkshame yourself or others in your prompt. it's okay to like what you like, and okay for other people to enjoy what they enjoy, too!

be clear and specific about your squicks and triggers in your prompt's description. these can be grouped together as a "dnw" (do not want) section at the end of your description. as a reminder, writers are not required to follow your dnws 100%, but we encourage them to consider those items, and all fills must be tagged appropriately so that prompters are not surprised by a dnw halfway through reading a fic.

each writer may fulfil as many prompts as they want - our writing period is going to be four months long, and we encourage writers to write lots of short fills in that time if they would like to!

multiple writers can claim and fill each prompt - if someone has claimed a prompt you like, you can also claim it and write your own fill! more cake for everyone!

all fills must be at least 100 words; while there is not a hard 'cap' of maximum words, we strongly encourage writers to keep fills under 5k words in the spirit of the traditional kink meme's focus on lots of shortform fills!

no plagiarism. if fills containing any prohibited content are found, the mods reserve the rights to remove the finished work from the ao3 collection.

fills will be anonymous until two weeks after the writing period ends. please do not talk publicly about which works are yours on social media until after reveals have happened.

ao3 will automatically add the prompt information into your author's note when you fill a claimed prompt - please leave at least the basic prompt in tact so that the mods can confirm which prompt each fill is for!

you do not need to submit prompts to fill prompts, however you are more than welcome to do both! you are also welcome to fill your own prompts ;)
